Drama Club

Director's meetings are an essential part of Winterfest. Each director who wishes to put on a production for Winterfest must be present at every director meeting.

Once you decide to put on a production for Winterfest only conviction is necessary. Over the course of each director's meeting you will need to provide more and more information to Drama Board. There are deadlines for the actors list, the final script, and the script with light and sound cues. A tech day will also be held shortly before Winterfest, in which you run your play with all the light and sound cues. This will help avoid any tech issues when your production goes on during Winterfest.

One of the main advantages to Co-Directing a piece with one or more persons is that any one of the directors may attend any number of director meetings. This is why having a co, or assistant director is something to consider if you have an after school obligation that my prevent you, the director, from personally going to the director's meetings.
